Making Headway Foundation provides care, comfort and a cure for children with brain and spinal cord tumors while funding medical research geared toward better treatments and a cure.”
Results:
Among our many accomplishments, one of the most notable from 2012 is that we have recently committed $1 million toward a neuro oncology laboratory at NYU. We were also instrumental in finding another matching grant for $1 million.

Making Headway Foundation was also named Nonprofit of the Year for 2013 by the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce.

I have always been impressed by The Making Headway Foundation. They provide support in many areas to children with brain and spinal cord tumors during their hospitalization(s) and to their families. My brother was diagnosed with brain cancer 11 years ago and The Making Headway Foundation has been there to support us through the good times and bad. When my 8 week old daughter, Minty, began her battle with brain cancer, we were drowning in a sea of help.
