Mission: Quality of life community services, inc. Has a primary mission to connect elderly and people living with disabilities to life-enhancing services and resources in the areas of transportation, education, and wellness. We carry out our mission by identifying and providing accessible solutions to improve the quality of life for each person we serve.
Programs: Career empowerment: apprenticeship program training minorities, low-income, unemployed or underemployed individuals in careers as professional transportation providers. Training consists of a combinaion of online and field training. Program vehichles are used by apprentices to assist transportation disadvataged people gain access to trips not provided by the existing system resources.
new freedom riders: this progrm provides trips for transportation disadvantaged seniors and people with disabilities for the purpose of staying connected to their community. Trips are primarily non-medical in nature and include shopping, civic and religious services, wellness, education and physical exercise programs. Trips are provided under this program when the passenger is unable to receive transportation services within the current system.
mobility management: hand -selected indpendent contract driver pool is maintained under this program to provide additional resources to all quality of life community service programs. Drivers are screened and trained in passenger safety and sensitivity to ensure appropriate services are available to best serve special needs clients. Trips are scheduled and overseen by the qolcs mm reservation and dispatch team.
