I have seen fantastic care for all the animals and interaction with them. From spending time talking to the animals to ensuring all their needs are met, I.e. nutrition to medical to play/stimuli.
I was a volunteer very regularly in 2014 while I lived nearby, and continue to do so when I am in the area. The owner cares about having animals in the best enclosures possible, and makes improvements and includes enrichment activities on a regular basis.
Quite a learning experience. Favorite part was when someone asked my daughter if she wanted peanut butter-after she answered she realized it was a parrot(wonder if the bird would’ve served her if she said yes)
If I come back next life as a lion this is where I’d like to live
I volunteer there and I enjoy it immensely. The animals are content. The grounds are well kept. Cages clean. I feed the big and little cats and never have had any bad times. It is a good place for wild animals.
I first heard of ZooVille a few years ago. My favorite animal was a beaver and my parents had “adopted” Bucky the beaver at ZooVille in my name as a present and we all got to go meet him. We had an amazing tour of the facility and the owner spent several hours with us showing us around and watching Bucky. We loved it so much we came back for another visit a few months later and I started volunteering so I could spend more time with Bucky. All the volunteers/staff love Bucky and spend lots of time cutting down trees for Bucky to chew and cart off to his den.
Love this little place! They have a nice variety of animals and are completely volunteer run, which I find amazing!
The animals are amazing!! I must say the staff is so knowledgeable and willing to share and educate. Great experience. It was so obvious how much they “care” for the animals
I have toured Zooville USA several times with Susan as our tour guide. Her breadth of knowledge about all of the animals is impressive. Each animal receives individualized care and attention, daily. The zoo meets and exceeds the highest expectations in caring for all the animals. Her volunteers are all dedicated and contribute to the feeling of a safe, well run organization committed to the health and well being of all the rescued animals living at Zooville USA.
I have known susan for so many years and she has always been such a dedicated person to helping rehabilitate animals in need. She’s always putting all her critters first. I enjoy every experience I have at zooville and always can not wait to come back again. Bucky the beaver is always so sweet and curious when he sees visitors and her white lions are breathtaking. I truly know that she is doing something special for the world by helping these animals and providing education about these beautiful unique wild animals and the best ways to preserve them in the wild. Every time I go up there she always happy to show me around. I love zooville and am so grateful to get to come to this facility and see all her unique wild life.
This is a very nice facility which gives loving care to adopted wildlife. The folks who operate it demonstrate a deep commitment to the well being and happiness of the animals. If you can find some time or a few dollars to donate it will be put to good use and give you a rare opportunity to interact with part of our rapidly declining ecosystem. From Great Cats to Otters this facility provides a loving atmosphere and does their utmost to be sure the residents are treated like family.
The very first day I met Susan and saw her interaction with the animals, I knew she had the deep love for these animals that is very rare, and much admired! She and her volunteers take great care to make sure all the inhabitants are loved and well cared for.
These critters needed a home, at Zooville they are safe and have no worries.
Susan has many years of knowledge of these wild animals, and I trust her care for them.
I am proud to be part of Zooville USA, and continue to support them any way I can.
It's amazing to see someone's dream become a reality, especially with having to rely solely on donations! Zooville's founder has always had a passion for lions and to be able to have rescued one and all the other species now residing at Zooville is a testament to that passion. Everyone at Zooville USA helps to ensure the animals have a safe place to live and receive the best care possible. For the people who go to visit, not only to do they get to see exotic animals, but they are also educated about them. To go there is truly an educational experience for the entire family! If everyone had the same type of passion as those affilated with Zooville, the world would be a better place!
My daugher and her friend introduced me to ZooVille years ago when they were helping build a fence. I have watched them grow over the years and am always amazed by the dedication they have for these animals. They put in the extra effort that is needed to make sure all the animals healthy and happy. They do a great job with limited resources.
I have been volunteering/donating to Zooville fUSA for the past t0 years. The dedication to the animals and the care they are given is the best. Each animal is treated uniquely and the enclosures are suited to the animal. There is enrichment for them and volunteers that care. Zooville USA takes in animals that need a home or in some cases abused and cares for them for the rest of their lives. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and staff members helpful and very knowlegeable. I keep returning to volunteer when I can because I find it a very positive place to be
I have volunteered at other places, and I was hesitant about doing it again. That is until I came to Zooville USA. The people here truly care about the wellbeing of the animals as well as educating you on the history of the animals, IE origin and educational facts that you probably would never of known. The people I volunteer with are magnificent. Susan, does wonders with these animals and I am proud to say I volunteer my sundays here!
Zooville has always inspired me to do more. The love and care given to the animals is unmatched. I've watched animals come in from other preserves and sanctuaries that had less that friendly temperaments and as time went by with Zooville you start to see a change. The animals are so well cared for and, loved and doted upon that the animals realize that they are in a better place - somewhere they can call "home". All sanctuaries should treat their animals the way Zooville does, spend one day there and you'll really learn something.
From the minute that you step foot onto the property known as "Zooville" it just *screams* Inspiration, kindess, caring and amazement!! The animals are exquisite, beautiful and cared for with the upmost compassion. If you are being personally led around enjoying a tour by the humble owners/parents or chatting with the gracious volunteers you instantly have the feeling of pure bliss knowing that the operations are all done out of the depth of thier whole hearts!! Each animal has more than expected including play toys and a ton of attention and admiration given non-stop!! The owners see thier furry rescues as more than an animal in need~it's a family of furry kiddos!! This is way more than any rescue, preserve or ZOO i've ever been to. It is a real home to many needy animals. With open hands they have found an awesome place with awesome people doing an awesome job of making this world an awesome place!! Thanks guys for stepping outside of the box and showing the world that not everyone have single vision!! Keep up the great work it's much apprieciated by your furry guys and the public!! KUDDOS!!
Zooville USA is a wonderful organization. Thanks to these wonderful people, my 3 year old niece and her pre-school class got a visit from an alligator and they also learned about the gator and to this day (3m months later) they still talk about it! These people are awesome in caring for animals, answering questions to children and adults alike and for treating animals that need help quickly. I am so proud to have Zooville USA in Hillsborough County! Keep up the great work!!
