This Organizations promotes Science Education amongst young people in the Yankton community. It provides the funding needed for supplies, competitions, camps and other events. The main focus of the organization is providing for the Science Olympiad State and National competitions. The three teams from Yankton, YMS, YHS, and SHMS have done an amazing job competing at the state level, over 35 years of First and Second place wins. The Yankton Middle school has competed at the national level every year they competed since the first year of the competition. Science Olympiad has encouraged and helped students find their niche in life with many joining the workforce in Science related fields. Doctors, Nurses, Engineers, Biologists, just to name a few. In order to meet the needs for the teams the club supports, the fund needs to be added to every year. The Club and the teams it supports appreciate the Yankton community and the support that it continues to provide.
