Nonprofit Overview
Mission: To develop and facilitate life-changing learning and serving experiences that bring hope to the world. This is done through short-term mission trips and by demonstrating care and concern in a way that enhances the dignity of others.
Results: Since 1986, World Servants has mobilized more than 40,000 people to serve in over 50 individual communities around the world. These communities have been positively impacted not only through physical construction projects, but by the building of personal relationships with local community members by coming alongside and working with them on a common task.
Target demographics: Communities and families in need who are willing to work in partnership with others wanting to serve, in order to make a long-term impact in people's lives. Church congregations, youth groups and business organizations with a desire to serve and make a significant impact on impoverished communities around the world.
Direct beneficiaries per year: More than 5,000 people each year.
Geographic areas served: North America, the Caribbean, Central America, Africa and South America
Programs: Evangelism through short-term mission trips.
