Causes: Adult & Child Matching Programs, Children & Youth
Mission: World mentor's purpose is to provide mentoring and/or education of individuals to expand their opportunities and life choices, through the acquisition of education, training, and/or experience and the development of relationships with individuals in relevant fields of endeavor.
Programs: World mentor gives students age 15 to 18 the opportunity to work one-on-one with volunteer professionals on selected projects for one semester through its e-mentoring network. The mentoring in 2013 focused on good habits, leadership development, consistent messaging for strategic goals, and better communication skills. During 2013, achievements included a program with 100 participants, consisting of 50 students and 50 mentors.
