provided funding to board captive exotic birds, including macaws, conures, amazons, molucans and african grays. Also many other types of parrots. Provided education to bird owners whose birds developed problem behavior to aid in rehabilitating the bird and keeping it in the home. Education included behavior modification, dietary and related health issues and identifying additional resources. Provided education to the general public at events and through schools and youth programs, demonstrating normal behavior, describing problem behavior and informing the public that wings over the rainbow is available to bird owners for help. Vetinaries use wings over the rainbow to help their staff learn how to work with parrots in the office.
