I have always had a heart for serving our communities. I have been able to volunteer with this amazing organization who help provide basic needs to our homeless communities.
Giving is an act of kindness. It's easy to watch and do nothing but more productive to help. My family and I had a chance to help at the last event in March. I highly recommend if you have time to join Who's Hungry when they go out in the community.
The past few months have been filled with ideas and plans for ways to further our reach in the community. Along with that comes some challenges but we continue to grow as a group. Our organization is in love with people and will continue to do what we can to help those in need.
I really hope San Diego can get the homeless crisis under control. I am happy to support orgs that are trying to figure out solutions. I am looking forward to seeing this org grow!
I enjoy supporting local!! If you want something to feel good about this where you want to give to. I was referred by a friend who volunteers!
Great group of folks I had a chance to meet at another organizations gathering in San Diego. Had a opportunity to speak with Kesha the Director and learn more about what they are doing downtown. Great vision for wanting to help out!
I have seen them downtown a few times and saw the name of the organization on a shirt. Looked them up and decided to donate. Nice people!!
WHO’s Hungry is ran by Keisha and a small team who bring bags of kindness to those in the Downtown area of San Diego that have been displaced or unhomed.
Tents filled with families, children, and medically disabled individuals tend to be those helped by WHO’s Hungry. While resources are limited they manage to provide hygiene products, small snacks, and healthy options to as many as possible.
Please consider how you can help and reach out to Keisha. You’ll be donating toward a growing important issue.
I have seen firsthand what this boots on the ground charitable organization can do. I myself have donated supplies for safety and food. These donations make it into the hands of the needy immediately. What caught my attention was a video I seen on youtube. Glad to leave a review. Keep doing what you're doing.
I love this nonprofit. They go over and above helping people and put all donations to use, giving to someone who actually needs it and is trying to help themselves. They do so much for those that need it the most.
I know the executive director of this organization she works tirelessly to bring aid to the homeless in our local community. They go out every month, and I'm so glad they are boots on the ground looking out for the homeless!
Awesome awesome grass-root homeless outreach organization that provides unique and touching opportunities to get more involved with my community.
In addition to providing amenities for the homeless community, it also functions to assist those who are seeking to get out of homelessness by providing connections to job skill training centers to help people. This team and its members stand for a good cause.
Everyday in the U.S. there are more than 550K individuals living in homeless situations. This is a serious problem that has to be addressed. I joined because I believe in the mission of Who's Hungry. We believe it takes a community working together to create transformation. Love the direction the organization is moving and the new program ideas coming.
