I became a Board Member over a year ago because of their mission, " Dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of Veterans." Over the last year I have seen first hand the hard work and dedication, by the entire team, to live up to that mission. I am proud to be a part of such a fantastic Veteran centered nonprofit.

WNYVHC was started in 1987. WNYVHC provides housing, employment, case management, services & referrals for homeless, low income & disabled Veterans. In their 26 years they have assisted over 15,000 Veterans with services & housing. They presently manage 4 apartment buildings in Buffalo with 100 apartments. WNYVHC's long term goal is to continue to aggressively search for new ways to improve housing and the quality of life for those who served when their country called. They are presently in talks to develop additional housing for female Veterans & families. WNYVHC will continue to connect, coordinate, and partner with other Veteran support communities and organizations in addressing the special needs of WNY Veterans.
