I’ve been a Welllife Network employee since 2012. It’s been an amazing experience to build my career with such a well regarded organization. Knowing that my hard work and efforts are not only recognized by my employer but is making a difference in the lives of thousands of people across the Brooklyn and Queens has been extremely rewarding. Plus they invest in their employees! Well life has supported me in continuing my education as well as my professional development. I highly recommend this company for their services as well as starting a career.
WellLife Network is a great organization. Led by Sherry Tucker, an amazing CEO, she has led this organization to help so many people in need of housing, day programming, vocational training, care coordination and care management. As a volunteer, I am always impressed with the quality of services as stated by the patients and clients who attend the programs. They share with me how everyone treats them with a kindness and intensity that is usually only reserved for family members. EVERYONE cares at WellLife and EVERYONE matters to the staff at this great organization. If you have some free time call the volunteer services dept. as I did and feel good about volunteering.

I have been employed with Welllife Network for 4 years. I must say that I have worked in this field with other companies for over 20 years. However, I have yet to see the level of commitment, concern and drive of the Executive/Management team that I see here at Welllife Network to help those we serve as well as to help staff grow to their fullest potential. They provide constant trainings for staff and encourage and support us in obtaining a higher level of education. They also connect on the ground floor with the people we serve to assist them directly or indirectly where ever needed. I am very proud and honored to be an employee of Welllife Network- part of a team that really cares about the people we serve and the staff they employ!

Excellent organization providing support for individuals challenged with mental health issues or developmental disabilities. WellLife staff really care about their work and their commitment and compassion are evident.
WellLife Network is a leading social services agency in New York because of its leadership and range of services. WellLife leadership balances thoughtful financial management with leading client care. This can be seen in the community outreach programs, like ACT, as well as supported housing.
As an advisor, I work very closely with the WellLife Network community care team members, supervisors, and directors, and other executive team. Everyone is clearly driven as a complete team to provide the best outcomes for each of their clients through time spent, diligent follow-up, expertise, and use of resources - a true client-centered approach.
Everyone involved at WellLife Network is a superhero in my book. Dedication, passion, selflessness are just a few words I would use to describe the makeup of the incredible staff. The - often thankless - work that is done everyday changes lives and the community is genuinely a better place for it.
WellLife is a fantastic organization with individuals dedicated to their mission of supporting the neediest in our communities. It has been a pleasure working with them at every step to help their work come to life.
Since joining the WellLife Network (WLN) in 2019 as a Per Diem Clinician I have been afforded the opportunity to grow my career and experience as a social worker and clinician substantially. WLN and their leaders within the Child and Family Division have been an integral part of my development from day one, and have always provided me with the tools, motivation and path to succeed. My work-ethic, professionalism and initiative has always been recognized and rewarded by upper management and beyond. Shortly after joining WLN as Per Diem I was offered a full-time position to bolster and better develop an in-home clinical based service. My success in this position was quickly recognized and again I was promoted to Clinical Coordinator of the Child & Family Treatment Support Services program. As a current leader and manager of a program - executive leadership consistently shows up and provides support as requested. Executive leadership is always willing to provide additional resources to include funding that goes to raise employee salaries and payrates resulting in an increase in quality workforce and retention. WLN leadership has shown that they are invested in their employees and provide opportunities and pathways for success and professional development. WLN has created an environment that is empowering, supportive and conducive to retention and growth of their employees and mission to serve the public.

I recently started working at WellLife Network and I am very grateful for the opportunity to help make a difference and the opportunity to work for a reputable organization. The flexibility and positive environment help make the job easier and satisfying. In addition, there is room for growth which is something I eagerly anticipate. It is a great experience for those who aspire to work in the health and social work fields. The management team and directors communicate regularly about the agency's mission and goals with everyone and they are willing to assist you when needed. I would highly recommend their organization.
I love Welllife Network. The staff are great and help me very much with my needs. The agency gave me a gift card to the spa and I was able to get my hair, makeup, and nails done, all for free. Before the Pandemic, the picnics and Christmas parties were my favorite. Welllife cares about me, my mental health, and my wellbeing. Welllife is going to help me graduate to Supported Housing very soon and I am happy to be with them.
My case manager is great support. She shows that she cares about my well-being through her conversation. She is honest and speaks to me as if she can relate.
Due to the high cost of housing in NYC, I am grateful to live in a very supportive program. I can focus more on addressing my healthcare needs and I am able to reduce my cost of daily living thanks to the program. The director and staff members are always approachable and very helpful when I come across a bump in the road. I can have visitors which keep me connected to my family and friends. I have always been able to reach my Case Manager when an issue arises. For example, I recently had a seizure and my Case Manager was able to assist me in contacting my doctors about my medication and blood work. Although it was her day off, she contacted me to me to see if I had any more seizures. I really appreciate the care and concern the staff gives us. I thank God, and Welllife Network for giving me this chance to live a normal life.
In reflecting in my experiences working at WelllLife Network it made me think back to what brought me into this field. As a compassionate, empathetic, and caring youth I decided to start working in this field based off my love for helping others and a close relative with a mental diagnosis. When I started working at WellLife Network in 2012 as a direct support professional I was able to continue to use my compassion to provide supports and services to those with an IDD diagnosis. As I continued my education WellLife Network offered me opportunities for promotions that I accepted and in accepting these opportunities came with a lot learning, patience, and an understanding of taking on various responsibilities. In 2014 I was promoted to an assistant manager position where my responsibilities expanded in regards to while providing quality care to our clients, I was also responsible for supporting our staff and team. My hard work paid off as within six months I was promoted again to a managerial position. Shortly after I received a promotion as a program director my hard work and contributions did not go unnoticed as I was selected to assist other program directors with bringing their programs to an optimal standard. In 2018 I was promoted once again to a senior program coordinator in which I was responsible for the supervision of one of WellLife Networks largest divisions and most challenging clients. In January of 2022 I received a promotion to Deputy Director of Mental Health Services. I am also currently a doctorate student and was awarded an opportunity to continue my education with the flexibility offered at WellLife. My most valuable contributions in this role has been the supervision of multiple programs providing guidance and sharing knowledge with staff and empowering the various clients throughout the programs. Through my time at WellLife I have truly received opportunities to learn, grow, empower, educate, and continue to pursue and engage in a standard of excellence. I am appreciative to WellLife Network for all my opportunities their transparency, autonomy and ensuring all employees are valued, seen, and heard.
I have been a loyal donor and a fan of WellLife Network for several years. It is an excellent organization with a track record of helping people to achieve their life's goals of health, recovery, wellness, and independence in the community. I would encourage anybody to volunteer or donate to WellLife Network so that it continues to provide excellent services for the people and communities it serves.

My Name is George Gitzinger and I am a consumer in Supported Housing. Please see my story:
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to explain my experiences with PSCH/WellLife Network.
I became a consumer with PSCH upon being discharged from Manhattan Hospital in NYC sometime in the late 1990’s.
My first Case Manager with PSCH was Crystal John. Crystal placed me in a home in Woodhaven with 2 other gentlemen. She is one of the nicest and most professional people I have met.
During this time I went to a trade school, graduated, and started working again. Things were going well for a few years and then a relapse occurred.
My counselor was Michael Thomas when is happened. I went to the hospital via ambulance, and Michael met me at the hospital and was with me until I was admitted. He went out of his way to see that I was taken care of.
Upon discharge from the hospital I was transferred to an in-patient facility and spent next three years there. I won’t mention the name of this facility, but the difference at that facility and PSCH/WellLife Network was night and day. Where PSCH/WellLife Network counselors were kind, caring, courteous, and professional, the counselors at this facility were not. At this place (unnamed), counselors were having sex with consumers.
After completing the program at this (unnamed) facility I called Crystal to see if I could return to PSCH/WellLife Network. Shortly thereafter, I was set up in an apartment in Hollis with another gentleman. We both preferred reading, to loud music. We watched Jeopardy every night (He was better than me.)
Sadly, he passed away the week before Thanksgiving 2019. He had a phone call, and I went to wake him, and it was obvious he passed away during the night. He was being treated for colon cancer. I remember turning on my phone, and the first number I pressed on the speed dial was for Sue Diaz. The Fire Department, Police, and EMT were there in minutes.
The people at WellLife Network asked me if I wanted to move to another place. I said no, that I was very comfortable here and have a great relationship with the landlord. (He even invites me to Thanksgiving Dinner every year).
At present, my Case Manager is Chrissaundra Patterson. She is kind, knowledgeable, and professional. When COVID became the menace it is, she called me up and asked if I wanted the vaccine. I did, and after the second shot, I was fully vaccinated.
I consider myself retired now (over 65), and credit Chrissaundra with helping me navigate the changes to my income and health insurance. This can be challenging!
I keep busy with my hobbies, which among other, are model building, computer programming, reading, and crossword puzzles. I look forward to going to Jones Beach this year on Memorial Day weekend to see the Navy Blue Angels air show.
To say that WellLife Network saved my life seems anticlimactic. I went from someone who didn’t want to wake up in the morning, to someone who loves to see the sun rise.
In conclusion, I cannot say enough about all the good people I have met through WellLife Network. The staff is great. I wish some of the other programs would adopt their model.
Very truly yours,
George Gitzinger

Welllife Network is an agency that helps people to develop and grow into their potential. The staff provides hope for the individuals that receive services daily.
I've been with WellLife Network Inc. for 16 years and I started out as a Case Manager. With the help and flexibility of the agency I had the opportunity to obtain two degrees, my first was a B.S. in Social Science and my second was a MSW. The knowledge that I gained professionally, by working in the field with individuals who have special needs allows me to provide quality services for housing, outpatient treatment, counseling, linkage to community support systems, advocating for their rights, and reuniting them with their loved ones. With all this experience and knowledge gained through my Agency it has enabled me to grow emotionally and spiritually, while building a connection to support my community, family and myself.
I have been an employee here since 2013. WellLife Network has been a wonderful work experience for me. Working with people with mental illnesses has been my lifetime career, and here at WellLife I have found that my voice is encouraged and that I am given plenty of support in my role to meet the needs of our clients and our agency. It's difficult to find supportive administration and we have it here at WellLife, in my experience. From the Vice President to the CEO everyone is accessible and they are quick to thank staff for their hard work and to listen. I have enjoyed every minute of the past 6 years.
I support the WellLife Network and the good work it performs to so many New Yorkers in need. I know how my donation is being used and I receive stories about those who WellLife has helped. It is an organization that is doing great work. Please take the time, as I did, to read about the services they provide. They are truly an amazing organization.
I honestly can't say enough good things about the WellLife Network. Their organization is fantastic, and everyone who works there, from the top down, deeply cares about each person who comes through their organization. Their services are wonderful and well thought out, but most importantly come from a place of sincere love. If you have an opportunity to work with them or support them in any capacity, do it!
