Mission: Waban projects provides a comprehensive array of programs that each year provides essential services and support to over 1,000 children and adults with special needs.
Programs: Child development center - provides developmental preschool programs in a reverse mainstream setting to special needs children, ages 2 1/2 to 6 on a year round basis.
adult development center - provides excercise, physical and occupational therapy as well as preparation for community living. Workshops offer the opportunity for handicapped people to do manufacturing work.
group homes & apartments - 13 group homes provide domestic training & living accomodations for developmentally disabled persons. 4 apartments provide assistance to persons learning to live independently.
summer camp & other projects - provides various activities such as swimming, boating, arts & crafts, language enrichment, physical education, and music to help enrich individuals.
