Pull for the pups great cause,Maybe this time i adopt a dog it will be there when I get there, and don't accidentally adopt it to someone else!
My family and I drove 2hrs for a scheduled meet with a dog upon arrival the woman there said sorry that dog was adopted already ! Talked to the owner and she said it was just a mis communication sorry! We adopted a dog from there 3yrs ago and my friends and family have always donated to all fund raisers but never again I'm not even gonna go into how they talked to us and treated us!
I filled out an application online made an appointment with wags drove 2 hrs there and was told that the dog I had a meet with we already addopted, then the girl told me sorry? I made the appointment they knew I was driving 2 hrs and then said sorry,I think they post dogs they don't even have to get people in there then try to get you to spend 450.00 dollars on a dog.you don't even want, after reading reviews I should have read first! This place gives good rescues a bad name!
I lost my pet Riley a dachshund 4 months ago. i reached out to adopt a bonded pair of sisters. i. I was told that because I was retired and had time for them I would have first consideration. I filled out the application and she received it. we she led us on to think we could have meet them at her work and take them home if we wanted them. We agreed to meet at her house outside with masks and my husband I are not familiar with Chicago and appreciated the change of venue. the very day before we were to pick up the meet and possibly take the girls home she said she had to cancel because she had been exposed to the virus and was in Quarantine for 2 weeks. I prayed for her and her family. then the next day they disappeared and adopted right from under us, we were devastated and I asked her for an explanation and she refused to answer us. she was a foster mom and she broke my heart!! I save all the email and correspondences for future reference. after losing my Riley I am heartbroken again! BJ
