Always active and up on the present situations and cares for the community. Always looking for ways to make it better.
Women uniting to help other women. As a woman who has faced abuse in the past, I found a great organization to tithe, volunteer and donate too. Thank you for all you do. “I am my sisters keeper.”
Viola's Place is helpful to women and children who have suffered through domestic abuse and are experiencing challenges in the midst of starting their lives over. I appreciate their use of funds in providing clothing, food, resources to attain affordable housing and job opportunities, as well as child care, in order to facilitate families on a path toward healing.
Viola's Place helps to give Women and children in the community a fresh start after escaping abusive relationships. These women can be provided with personal hygiene products, clothing, food from the pantry, be pointed in the direction of housing, and job opportunities
and child care just to name a few. It is about Community Outreach, Rebuilding, and Growth and Development for these women and their children (if they are parents) getting back on their feet safely and efficiently.
Violas Place Inc is a resource center for women and children who have been victims of Domestic violence and abuse. Our center in collaboration with local agencies provide food, clothing and services. Women also utilize the computers to create resumes and look for jobs. We are here to assist with housing and emergency shelters
Our shelters (coming in 2020), will house women and children and one will serve women only. WE ARE OUR SISTERS KEEPER.
There is LOVE in this place. Many times women don't have a place to go or people to count on when things in their lives are not going as planned. Tragedy happens, loss happens, and those things alone can cause other issues. What if there was a place where you can learn life skills, and receive the motivation you need to make through hardship? I believe this organization will be the backbone of the community. To have someone to talk to, to believe in you, and motivate you is what Viola's place is about. I was blessed to meet the the #1 lady Darlene Keith-Battle. Darlene is a force to be reckoned with. She fights for what she believes in and fights for all women in the community. I thank her for being a blessing to me and my family
