The executive director is unprofessional. She placed a service dog with a friend of hers and tried to pass it off as a legitimate graduation. People on the waitlist got passed over for someone who was just given a dog. I think this organization used to be ok, but it has gone so far down hill. I think they need to dissolve before they sink any lower.
I would love to say something nice about this non-profit but I can not because of the way they handle their training and how they treat their volunteers. I was going to be a puppy coach. I received my puppy on September 8, On September 23 they made me give him back. There was no one on one training and they felt the puppy wasn't listening to me. They expected the dog to do things that I was never trained on. They also move their dogs around way to often.. These dogs need stability in their lives. I would not recommend volunteering at this organization until they have their act together. Right now they do not have it together and they are very unprofessional.
