Tilted Thunder is a non-profit banked track roller derby team in the Seattle area that is run by its members. It is a small but mighty group of dedicated skaters looking for a warehouse to keep our track up all the time. This will help us grow the league, and the greater roller derby community. This group of people s all about holding each other up and helping everyone become better skaters! They take any level skater and train right from the start. Skating not your thing, that's ok, they will train you to be an official too.

Causes: Amateur Sports, Sports
Mission: We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving adult women and non-binary people who are comfortable in an environment that centers women. Our goal is to empower the individuals we serve through amateur athleticism and community involvement.
Target demographics: Women, Non-Binary, LGTBQIA, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities.
Geographic areas served: Western Washington, Seattle area
Programs: Tilted Thunder Roller Derby provides a program for empowering our community members through skating. As a league, we also wish to promote mental and physical empowerment, development of skills, loyalty on and off the track, individuality, and friendship - throughout the entire sport, both locally and nationally. We have programs for a variation of skill sets and abilities. Adult Skater Program: Currently offering practices and scrimmages in the Seattle metro area on a flat and banked track surface. Opportunities are available to skate for the public dependent on skills and safety on track. Skater program offered only to women identifying and non-binary people. Officials/Referee program: This is open to skating and non skating members of any gender. These are essential members of our team that helps our program maintain safety during scrimmages and bouts. Volunteer Program: We welcome anyone that wants to help. This could be for multiple roles. Examples of volunteers needed: Track build/tear down, bout production shifts, coaching.
