Mission: We exist to promote and encourage diversity in the arts as it applies to reversing societal stigmas and combating media biases of the full-figured artist.... Talent, beauty and influence should not be limited to size. ARTISTIC DIVERSITY: Tarin, mentor, inspire and empower full-figured women pursuing professional careers in the performing arts industry. HEALTH & WELLNESS: Promote size acceptance, while also educating our communities toward healthier life choices, proper diet, increased exercise and better wellness overall. PUBLIC PERFORMANCE: Provide numerous performance showcase opportunities throughout the year in a wide spectrum of artistic genres. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: Continuously foster relationships with like-minded performing arts, media, women's health and empowerment organizations nationwide.
Results: Over 80 plus size women featured in live performance venues, fashion shows, poetry jams and wellness events since 2010. Political endorsements from Illinois Governor Pat Quinn and City of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Company member appearances on the Steve Harvey Show (NBC), Windy City Live (ABC), The Mo'nique Show (BET) and The Morning Blend (NBC-Milwaukee). Successful annual health and wellness event (Fitness FUSION Marathon) in 2013, benefiting Action For Healthy Kids® - featuring Andrea Metcalf, Chicago Bulls Ambassador Bob Love, Shea Vaughn (mother of Hollywood Star Vince Vaughn) and Amour Genesis. Successful execution of two (2) major fashion and performing arts exhibitions, "The Abstract of ThYck" (2012) & "The New ThYck" (2011).
