Mission: The Wisconsin Philharmonic (formerly Waukesha Symphony) enriches lives through exceptional musical experiences through performance, education, and community partnership. It is The Philharmonic's vision to be a thriving professional orchestra leading regional audiences to great music through artistic, educational and outreach programs.
Programs: Besides its five regular concert offerings, The Philharmonic sponsors a variety of educational initiatives for Waukesha County youth, including coaching programs for high school orchestral students, scholarship auditions for middle and high school students, school assembly performances for elementary students, and mentoring for promising young musicians who need assistance to further their music education. The Philharmonic’s concerts reach patrons of all ages in the five county area of Waukesha, Milwaukee, Washington, Ozaukee, and Racine counties.
