This project serves tribal people and give treatment and do operation without taking any charges gives food and milk to their children. I have participating in seva activities in 10 days eye camp organised by Prad Chikitsa.
A transparent non profit organisation working for the upliftment of adivasi area around. Fantastic work Prasad Team!!! Thank you so much
They work selflessly in a remote village of Ganeshpuri which is around 80 kms from Mumbai. Thier primary work is to empower people and make them self-reliant. Programs include providing nutrition, healthcare, education material, women empowerment. Genuine work and every single penny donated is fully utilised.
Knowing the Prasad organization from decades. They have been doing excellent work for people in real need. There Philanthropic initiatives have brought positives changes is many lives. I urge to support Prasad project in the best manner.
My high school friends and I wanted to help feed starving children. We found PRASAD is great because they know the people they serve, they treat everyone with love and respect, the money goes right to the place we give it to. Finally, we are really glad they have an emphasis on self-reliance. All this together means they are a role model for a long-term, sustainable system to successfully nourish children the world over.
We held a fundraiser via zoom with most members of our extended family. We shared meaningful stories of our past. Inviting people to donate to PRASAD really opened everyone's hearts. There was so much love in the "room". Since then I have felt so grateful for a strong sense that everyone in my family is protected. My experience is that PRASAD protects the hearts of the donors and the lives of the recipients. I love PRASAD.
I have known Prasad and donated to Prasad for more than 25 years and have noticed the great effort this organisation has done for many poor people around the world, specially in India. I have once worked as a volunteer with The mobile Hospital in India in 1991 and saw then the great impact Prasad was doing for the local people. Since then Prasad has build a clinique/ hospital for the poor people in The Tansay Valley. It is the best charitable organisation I know, trustwordy and with such great compassion. That is why I still donate to this organisation and will continue to do and hopefully my children will do also one day.
When I see how gracefully every prasad team member is doing service to humanity ,it gives my heart such deep satisfaction and inspire me to donate more ,as it's visionary project of my shreeguru gurumaiji thanks to all prasad team members and donars , thanks to all sidhhas for your blessings ,keep Inspiring us,worth donating because every single penny matters most, if not donated to genuine one then it's wasted ,so believe in prasad ,lots of love peace joy to all
I had a chance to volunteer with Prasad and was so deeply moved by the quality of the organization. I was impressed with the efficiency of their medical programs in India and their children's denal program in America. In addition, what made a deep impression on me was the level of respect with which they treated all those they served. A quality organization doing wonderful work.
The work Prasad does in many countries is so amazing ! They truly help where there is a need and empower people to help themselves!!!
Prasad has always been one of the best charities to work with. Recently I executed a fund raiser for Prasad and and it was an art show on zoom. This experience was so full of heartfelt love and most people who saw it wanted to donate.
Throughout the years that I have been in touch with Prasad I have visited the
Medical Facility in the Tansa Valley. It just touched my heart to see people being helped by the good work of Prasad. People being able to see again, people getting medicinal aid for AIDS, general medicine and women’s & men’s needs being met.
Prasad’s work with sustainability and farming and also assisting in a major crisis around the world is truly amazing.
The Prasad Project is a truly great charity.
We have supported PRASAD since it started, growing out of a hospital bus and child nutrition programs in India in the 1980's when we lived there. A few years ago we visited India and saw the PRASAD activities first hand, they go to the root cause of poverty and poor health and educate and train people to take responsibility for own well being. This means the donations are used effectively and efficiently having an enormous positive impact on the communities. I have also seen this first hand with the dental program in NY. The small team works hard to deliver valuable services cost effectively. BRAVO - my favorite nonprofit.
Over the years I've seen such great work by the PRASAD Project. In the 1980's I visited and volunteered for their eye camps in India and witnessed children getting their first ever dental work here in Sullivan County, New York. I truly believe they are improving the quality of life for many people. I've been both a volunteer and a Board Member.
I am a dental hygienist who works for the PRASAD Project's Children's Dental Program. I love the dedication this organization has for the health and wellbeing of children in our area who may not otherwise have access to dental care. We reach out to fill this need by bringing our dental van to the schools to care for children where they are. In addition, we visit classrooms to educate children on how to care for their oral health. I am so blessed to have this opportunity to help children and am proud to be a part of the PRASAD project.
I have followed PRASAD's work for a couple of years and have been impressed by the breadth of services they provide and their emphasis on empowering communities and upholding their dignity. Their commitment to serving throughout the pandemic was nothing short of miraculous for the indigenous community in rural India whose livelihoods and food access were cut short during the country's total lockdown.
I was a part of eye camp. It was overwhelming experience for me. All the great beings gathered together to uplift the human lives. Truly people at Prasad were extremely great soul and worked wholeheartedly for the betterment of the tribal people's
Prasad Project relentlessly service to the most remote area of Maharashtra n many more countries around the world.
Since i am from india i would speak about the great work Prasad offer on a daily basis.
They have not stopped service even when people around the world were dealing with covid 19. With full care n protection they worked during the tough time so that medical help and essential reach those who are below poverty level.
The work did not stop here the tuberculosis patient who could not reach the clinic Prasad staff went to thier homes as relapse of medication would not help the recover.
Prasad work is not just work for the sake but to follow up with patients so they are completely heal.
When we offer our service in prasad instead of giving we receive more than we can image.
An honest effort to uplift the lives of those in need. Pls donate to PRASAD organisation . I have personally worked n in turn learnt a lot. It sharing n caring. And circle of receiving n giving.
The Prasad Project is wonderfully designed and carried out, helping many varied conditions, children and adults alike. This nonprofit provides life transforming health care, vision and dental, that would otherwise be unavailable to the poor that are served in remote areas.
The staff are wonderful - assisted me to choose where my dollars will go as a donor. I've contributed monthly for over a decade, a modest amount hardly noticed by me, and I plan to continue with this practice. So much to be grateful for in my life! - Art P.
Closely watching this organisation since it's inception.
One major change I have seen among the inhabitants of TANSA valley is this organization is working relentlessly and in continuation with work in HEALTH EDUCATION & SELF EMPLOYMENT .From mobile hospital to arranging camps.from child health to adult education.from employment to societal hygiene.kudos and wish to be part.great going PRASAD project.
The work performed by PRASAD Project not only touches individuals and families in the United States but also those in Mexico and India. The work performed changes their lives so that they can, once again, be productive members of society. Whether providing dental care to children in Sullivan County or offering eye surgeries to those who suffer from cataracts, all individuals walk away transformed.
I don’t usually donate, but Prasad offers very necessary outreach to a region much in need. Their organization operates on very low administrative expenses and everyone involved seemed for all intents and purposes to deeply care about the impact of their outreach.
I love this charity Prasad. Most of the money goes to the charity and they do great work for free to people who really need it. One example, some years ago, there was an Earthquake and the government was dropping cans of food from the air to for the people. Prasad came in and set up tents and kitchens and served hot food to everyone. It's about treating people who are in need, with respect. Love Prasad!
Dear Prasad Project
It is with a happy heart that I write to you in recognition and gratitude for the wonderful humanitarian projects Prasad Project provides to communities around the world. In particular the relief to many communities affected by floods, earthquakes and other natural events, offering food, shelter and emergency services at these crucial times.
Further, the on-going medical and nutritional health programs in India, the restorative and preventative dental health program to children in need, receiving an award from the New York State Dental Foundation as well as the eye surgery camps providing restored vision of thousands of adults and children in Mexico, confirm the commitment and dedication of the Prasad Project to this global humanitarian mission.
Thank you and may your light continue to expand and shine even brighter.
We have had total faith in the trustworthiness of the Prasad Project over many years and will continue to donate for many more years to come, to this wonderful cause.

I have made contributions to PRASAD for many years and have been impressed by their sustained activities to: (1) promote the health and self reliance of individuals in the rural Tansa valley region of Maharashtra, India; (2) provide cataract surgery to individuals in the Tansa valley and in Mexico; and (3) operate a mobile dental clinic in a high need area in the Catskill mountains of upstate New York. In addition to efficiently providing much needed services and programs PRASAD also does a great job of providing regular updates on its program and transparency regarding its finances. I had the good fortune to spend a day a few years ago helping with the delivery of milk to elementary school children in the Tansa Valley and was able to see how they make the most of every penny of donations, and provide services in a way that promotes the self respect of those they serve. I appreciate that they also act as a conduit for donations to address natural disaster relief efforts - I know I can trust them to partner with organizations that will be thoughtful and efficient in providing services.
Visiting the prasad project in Ganeshpuri India was an uplifting and inspirational experience
to see how love is shared in doing seva , I was very fulfilled especially with everything I was
introducted to. the milk project clinic and agriculture. It is always my honor to speak to others
about this and also to continue to give and support this venture. Love and Blessings always
I teach music in an elementary school. Many of my students come of low income families, get enough food only when they come to school, or income cases are homeless. When the Prasad Project's Children's Dental Health bus began coming to my school, I was thrilled. I see children getting not only much needed dental care and dental hygiene education, but also an experience of love, kindness, and joy that makes them glow. They are excited when the bus arrives. They look forward to their time to see the dentist, and afterwards speak about how much fun it is, and the kindness they felt as well. I know they are getting much more than just clean teeth and filled cavities. They are getting a feeling of care that will stay with them as they grow up.
In 1989, in Ganeshpuri, India, I had the good fortune of spending a day on the " mobile hospital" bus, before it eventually became part of what is now the Prasad Project. We drove a long distance to a remote village. There was a long line of adults and children waiting. Some had walked from other distant remote villages. One woman's sari was covered in flies. They were all examined and treated by the doctors or nurses. The children were given fresh cold milk. The images of that day are etched in my mind as if it were yesterday. I was so humbled. This traveling hospital was all some of those villagers had for medical treatment. For some, lifesaving. For all, worth a long pilgrimage of many miles. Their gratitude was palpable. This act of giving and providing for the communities changed many lives and touched many hearts. Mine would never be the same.
When I returned to the U.S.A. I was inwardly inspired to apply to nursing school. A second career which I felt blessed to have for the next 22 years.
The Prasad Project is a lifeline to so many less advantaged people whom would otherwise have no access to life changing or lifesaving medical or dental .treatments.
It is a Project of selfless giving, with tangible and intangible rewards. It is a Project of love.
For many years I have been a volunteer with The PRASAD Project and for a year was their Director of Development. It is an honor to be associated with such a great organization. It's global reach helps people in many countries who would not ordinarily be served.
Whether as a donor, volunteer or staff member, I only have the highest praise for their commitment to serve with efficiency, kindness and integrity.
The PRASAD Project holds a special place in my heart.

PRASAD has a very good reputation in Mexico. They have helped a lot of senior people with free cataract surgeries. I personally spoke with one of them many years ago and he was just very grateful for the love and compassion he got from PRASAD. It was not just the surgery, it was the love he got. They have changed the lives of literally thousands of people. I follow PRASAD's Facebook page and it's amazing to see all the projects they do all over the world. I have chosen them as a charity to support on amazon smile, so every time I buy on Amazon.com, a small portion of my purchase goes to them. It's not a lot, but every little helps
I have followed Prasad for maybe 20 years. I know first hand that they truly care for people. They have made a huge difference in so many lives in many countries! There are a lot of old poor people that would have lost their sight because ofcataracts, but Prasad save them. Dozens of surgeries have been performed in poor areas in Mexico and it's amazing to see the love they give patients.
I learned about the work of the PRASAD Project over 20 years ago and was fortunate to volunteer for one of the PRASAD Eye Camps in the Tansa Valley in India. It was deeply moving to see the way in which the local staff and leadership had created such an inspiring and effective organization, restoring the eye sights of thousands of local villagers.
The staff in most cases had been recipients of PRASAD's work and each one of them has grown to be a wonderful and inspiring leader and as an effective team have developed programs that made a huge impact in their communities.
I have followed and admired PRASAD's programs as its grown in NY as well as in other countries around the world. I've seen the ways in which people's lives are deeply impacted by PRASAD's work including responding to emergency situations as they arise around the world; including supporting victims of hurricanes, tsunami's, flooding and earthquakes.
I have volunteered for PRASAD over the past years, in India and Sullivan County, New York. The mobile hospital bus in India serves hundreds of people daily. The health screenings and treatments that were done with babies, mothers, all ages of men and women was amazing. The people cared for were so grateful and appreciative. In most cases this was there only contact for health care. The PRASAD is a nonprofit that truly goes above and beyond.

When an event such as a disaster happens and I feel the urge to help, I implicitly trust The PRASAD Project to get my donated funds to the right place, honestly, and securely.
I volunteered my own skills to the PRASAD Project's medical work in India, and now I support PRASAD as a donor. I've seen the many hearts, minds and hands of PRASAD volunteers and staff come together as one, effectively empowering individuals and communities, and conserving the earth's resources. A young artist is given the chance to create and thrive. Someone's TB is treated. Someone's eyesight restored. A harvest bears fruit. Every personal story matters. Thank you, PRASAD Project.
Donating to the PRASAD Project makes me feel happy because they support such worthy causes and I know they pass on as much as possible out of every dollar given. Mainly, the work is done by volunteers who really have their heart in it. Blessings to everyone who gives and who receives.
I have been collaborating with PRASAD for more than 10 years, both economically and personally.
I have visited the projects and I can assure that their work reach the people and transform their lives. The change is longstanding and durable, because it is orchestrated through the people they are helping. People are learning how to help themselves.
This is the type of work that could really change the world.
I worked with PRASAD for over a year. I am a physician, I work in internal Medicine. However, I mainly worked as a fundraiser.
My experience was very positive. I learned a lot, and was able to go onfield to see the work that is being done in India. Self Help Groups is an incredible initiative which is transforming the Tansa Valley community into a sustainable and independent area.
I also visited various health facilities, which work very well, and are always seeking to improve.
I keep on helping Prasad economically, and hope to be able to do so for a very long time.
the PRASAD Project has been my major charity of choice since 1993
once i became a Prasad partner where i contribute monthly
i have never wavered ......... what impresses me the most
is that truly your contributions r being utilized for all of their
wonderful programs in helping families and women in need............
i feel blessed to be part of this charity and feel fortunate to be part
of such a successful charity
I have been offering donations to this organization for many years. I have the greatest confidence that they are well-managed and make efficient use of the funds. It is so great that they are able to help so many impoverished people in a number of different cultures and environments.
I have donated to PRASAD for many years. I have attended many of their events, and I have kept abreast of many of their philanthropic endeavors. They are extremely honest, totally transparent, and they utilize the funds to help others-not to enrich themselves. I did not know any other charitable organization with such high standards. They are steeped in love and love is what they share.
I have been a PRASAD partner, monthly donor, for many years. I have visited their program sites in India and seen the inspiring, loving, respectful manner in which the services are offered. I have watched PRASAD and the communities they serve evolve over the years. Each service project is designed in partnership with those served and is responsive to their changing needs as circumstances and even physical conditions around them change. PRASAD project communicates regularly with donors about the projects that their donations are funding and the ways in which these projects are significantly enhancing the quality of life and empowerment of those served.
Fantastic charitable organization that works with the utmost integrity and always with the people it aims to help foremost in mind.
The work of PRASAD Project is inspiring and impactful. From providing local dental care in upstate NY to those who would otherwise be without, to providing milk or more extensive services such as eye surgery in rural India, the work of this charitable organization is beyond reproach and a shining example of true selfless service in the world. I am very happy to support PRASAD and am constantly in awe of the organization's contributions to the well being of others. It brings joy to my life hearing stories of this blessed work.
The Prasad project work is very helpful for indian poor people for its regular life stile upgrade
Thank all devoti
I have known the work of the Prasad Project for over 10 years. I have had the good fortune to see their work first hand in Sullivan County in NYC and in India. They have a great CharityNavigator score and the team really cares about the work.
It was 29 years ago that I first was involved with the Prasad project in the Maharashtra state in India. It was my great good-fortune to participate in the first two eye surgery camps where vision was given to people that had cataracts. I will never forget the day I took the patch off a man who was blind in both eyes and a white light poured from his eye and pierced my heart. In that moment of him regaining his sight I felt that I was being given the vision of the purpose of my life. To serve others in this way. I was also blessed to participate in the children's milk project and also to work on the mobile Hospital bus that went out to villages to give people much needed medical care on a consistent basis. It also inspired me to become a registered nurse. It is my great longing to serve others in this philanthropic way and I am so grateful to have the Prasad project as a vehicle to do so. They're unique in that they look at the whole picture of what those they serve are in need of. I am drawn to the question they ask which is "what do you need?". I look forward to being associated with the Prasad Project for years to come and I encourage anyone who is interested in this type of service to affiliate yourself with this outstanding organization.
I love their work! Bringing change in lives of many across the world.
A wonderful organization doing good not only here in Sullivan County, New York but also in India.
I'm confident when I donate Prasad project that my money is going to a good cause and would be utilized in the highest way by an organization that has a lot of Integrity.
It gives me tremendous joy to donate to a great non profit philanthrophic trust like Prasad as it is doing great work for so many years.
I have known about PRASAD for more than 20 years. In recent years, I have been impressed by the expansion of programs, especially the women's self-help groups. Empowering women has led to entire villages being transformed. This is significant. Similarly, working with villagers to install toilets outside their homes has made daily life safer and more hygienic. Simple things have enhanced these families' lives immeasurably.
I follow some of PRASAD's activities on facebook and I feel it is very positive, helpful and useful. What I've read about PRASAD, their ways of handling situations and their respect for the people they help seems very good.
Prasad helps people especially in regards to health care, livelihood and self-support, agriculture and ecology, women's issues all of which include an educational aspect. My feeling is that Prasad does an immense job to improve the quality of people's lives in innovative, compassionnate and practical ways. It helps to create self-respect as well as social and community bonds.
I thinnkPrasad is an essential organisation which should be encouraged, helped and rewarded.
This is being initiated by Baba Muktananda and Gurumayi ji,
As we get news of Prasad Projects initiatives to uplift the needy once all across the globe. Working on health , enviorment sustanibility.its feels blessed one to be part of Prasad
Fantastic Not-for-Profit Organization that has been doing tremendous work for over 25 years. The focus is on providing support for economically disadvantaged communities in a true holistic fashion, to truly uplift communities and individuals.
I have been serving this organization for the past 25 years and am amazed to see how much can be done with continious dedication for the tribal population in the Tansa valey ( health, education, environment and agriculture). The work is done with the local population which allow a strong sustanability of the initiatives.
I am following Prasad since more than 20 years now. Their work in rural area is exceptional. I have participated in the eye camps organized by them in Maharashtra state of India. The kind of joy and satisfaction we saw on the faces of deprived people after getting their eyes treated was beyond the words. Many doctors and healthcare specialists from all around world have been participating in this mission.
They have also got other valuable projects as Prison project, mobile hospital, dental projects etc as well.
I thank and wish all the very best to Prasad team for their valuable contribution to the humanity.
Last year Prasad Spain Board Members visited Tansa Valley in India were The Prasad Project helds many programs to support people in need. We visited a small village were they have built 25 sanitation stations. Villagers were so proud, that we had to go arround and visited every single sanitation. For me was to give more value to what we have in our homes for granted.
PRASAD is working for last line of people of society. They are improving there life and supporting medical help.
What I like about the work of PRASAD is it's holistic approach. It is the overall context (economic, health, nutrition, education ...) that PRASAD takes into account to accompany populations in the Tansa Valley.
Giving to PRASAD makes me happy! It helps me stay in touch with my heart. It allows me to feel gratitude for all I've received, and provides me with a way to give back. PRASAD reminds me to be kind and compassionate with myself and others. And it's taught me about the joy comes with generosity. PRASAD's greatness is that it transforms not only those that receive, but also those who give.
PRASAD is all about partnership; partnership with the local people, partnership with the government and partnership with the environment. PRASAD provides a holistic services that benefits all. Maintaining the well being of rural, indigenous tribal people is a real challenge, and without the PRASAD volunteers, led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, the work would simply not get done.
The Hospital in Ganeshpuri, India does great work with the Tribals of the area. Witnessed it myself.
Prasad Project doing a great work and helping the humanity. This nonprofit is different i feel as they work in Harmony and care for people and they reach out to people. many poor people has experience the great work of Prasad. Bavo ! Keep it up!
Today I was extolling to my husband, over dinner, how great it is to be donating monthly to Prasad. I was particularly excited about the work Prasad has done to bring food, work, medical assistance and education to people who have been left behind by advances in urban centers. Simple things that we take for granted are being offered and taught by Prasad, and I am supremely grateful that the less fortunate are being cared for instead of forgotten.
The Prasad Project is an exemplary non-profit organization committed to helping those in need. It operates health, education, disaster relief and sustainable community development programs in India, provides dental care for children in the United States, and organizes free eye surgery camps in Mexico. Its dedicated vision is one of healthy communities which prosper not only in harmony with the natural environment, but also where people are inspired to improve the quality of their own and others’ lives.
