Programs: The urban design committee (a subcommittee of the organization) monitors the public realm, including zoning, development, safety, and mobility, on behalf of its membership to ensure that any new projects/initiatives are of benefit to the neighborhood and its residents as well as consistent with the district's historic quality. As part of its work, the urban design committee keeps its membership abreast of any issues that may impact the neighborhood and encourages a broader public awareness about critical neighborhood topics.

lodo district, inc. , hosts the grand illumination of union station, the annual lighting of the historic union station, and lodo aglow, a holiday-themed window design contest for local businesses. For lodo aglow, businesses can decorate on their own or elect to be paired with local artists who create displays on the businesses' behalf.

as the philanthropic arm of the organization, the lodo cares committee oversees the organization's giving and volunteer service programs. Among its regular programs are neighborhood clean-up efforts, resident support services, and a holiday fundraiser for a neighborhood charitable institution, among other small local activities.

the marketing and activation committee (a subcommittee of the organization) plans and executes programs and events designed to promote and market members and the neighborhood as a whole. With committee direction, the staff maintains the organization's website, a public facing resource to create awareness about the neighborhood and its businesses. The staff also distributes two e-newsletters, one weekly and one bi-weekly, that highlight neighborhood happenings and news, respectively.
