The Lindsay Foundation was formed to help children with therapies and equipment that there families can't afford. While this is a small non-profit it is run by a great group of folks with big hearts. Lindsay's mom Laurie and her group work tirelessly to provide all the assistance they can for as many as possible. It truly hurts their hearts when they have to turn someone on need away because they don't have the funding to cover all of the needs.

This is a straight-forward, non-profit that has very little overhead and is determined to make a difference. If you are looking for a group to support, you will not be disappointed with this one. They are a class act.

I am honored to be a part of this foundation. They truly care about each and every child that they help. For the ones they can't help, they go the extra mile to provide information and resources to the family to get the help needed. God bless The Lindsay Foundation.

The Lindsay foundation helped me when insurance wouldn't give me what I needed for my child. They were quick and efficient and even made sure the supply company was local. Can't thank them enough!

This charity is amazing. It is run by the most caring individuals whose only purpose is to help children with special needs. The impact they are able to make with a relatively small amount of funds is immeasurable. They funded my son's speech therapy in 2011 and have been a valuable resource ever since.

Back in 2010 our daughter was diagnosed with Plagiocephaly and was in need of a correctional helmet that Medicaid would not cover as they say it is cosmetic although this could have caused our daughters brain to develop incorrectly and mess with her eyes and so on!! We are so thankful for The Lindsay Foundation for helping us pay for the helmet for our daughter!! They were our blessing!!

The Lindsay Foundation is great! They gave my son a grant to help pay for speech therapy. My son was diagnosed with severe verbal apraxia at age three. He has been in speech therapy since he was 10 months old. When my husband's insurance changed and we didn't know how we were going to pay for speech therapy out of pocket The Lindsay Foundation came to the rescue. Not only did they cover $1,500 worth of speech, but I truly feel like we are now part of the Lindsay Family. Laurie is a kind hearted lady who really gets to know the kids she helps! I recommended several families to apply for grants and they were also helped. Thanks Lindsay Foundation and Laurie for all of your hard work. We are so thankful we found you!!

The Lindsay Foundation is simply amazing. We moved to Texas and were new teachers and have a son with a rare genetic disorder. We want him to be included in everything we do and that means he needs a special stroller because he can't walk for long periods of time. We wanted to become a healthier family and get more active and start walking. The Lindsay Foundation stepped up and got my son a special jog stroller. The smiles and joy it has brought our family can never be repaid!

We are so blessed and grateful for the Lindsay Foundation and their generosity for helping to purchase a special feeding chair for my son Nicholas, who has a diagnosis of Angelman Syndrome. Nicholas finally does not need to sit in a high chair to be fed anymore and can sit right at the table with our family! Thank you for this amazing gift!

My son & I were so blessed to be able to serve with The Lindsay Foundation. They are so very helpful to those who need help, not funding themselves, but the people in need. I recommend that if you want to donate to a non-profit, that you would strongly consider the Lindsay Foundation for your donation dollars!! I wish I lived closer as I would continue to give of my time & effort. Donna Schneringer-Gibbs

I contacted the Lindsay Foundation after receiving my sons Cerebral Palsy diagnosis. We were adjusting to the news, while simultaneously trying to fight insurance companies to get my sons basic medical needs met . They were incredible ! The founder, Laurie, took time to talk to me and listen , which at that moment was one one of the greatest things anyone could have done . From my understanding these people are all volunteer , and yet they went above and beyond to support me and my son. We made a request for a piece of adaptive equipment and yesterday, on his birthday, we received it! It was the best birthday present we could have ever imagined :)

My family is so grateful to The Lindsay Foundation! My son is 3.5yo and is non-ambulatory (immobile) and non-verbal due to a rare brain condition. Our insurance limits the number of covered therapy visits annually and we weren't able to have the weekly physical therapy and speech therapy visits my son so desperately needs. The Lindsay Foundation's stepped in and generously provided grant dollars to cover a significant number of speech therapy visits. My son's communication, his very ability to be understood by people in his life, will increase thanks to The Lindsay Foundation. There is no way we could cover these visits out of pocket. We're so thankful to The Lindsay Foundation for its generosity and investment in my son's life.

my name is jessica and I have daughter who just turned three who has celebral palsy. I found this organzation online when I was just browsing one day. This is the greatest place for people to go if you have a child with a disabilty. Insurance only covers certain things when it comes to someone with a disability. The lindsay foundation helps children with disabities with medical equimpment that insurance wont cover. They have been the best!!! They approved my daughter to get a special needs bike that was not covered by insurance. I would never been able to buy this expensive bike all on my own. Now my daughter will be able to ride a bike with the other kids now. The lindsay foundation was setup after her daughetr passed away of a disabilty to help other familys because helen had been through the same struggles herself. I can't say enough wonderful things about this website it is the greatest!!!! Thankyou, Jessica
