The organization is well run and very professional in how it goes about its work. I help as needed with general tasks related to mailings, but have also participated in work days to clean up natural areas by cutting down brush or picking up trash. The staff are helpful and willing to take the time to explain things to volunteers. When I send them a donation, I am always thanked promptly and personally, which means a lot to me. I get so tired of the generic letters asking for my money. To get a personal letter that is signed by a real person makes a strong impression.
