Mission: The gordon and mary cain pediatric neurology research foundation (the "foundation") exists primarily to provide assistance to texas children's hospital through the support of research, teaching, treatment, and related activities with respect to pediatric neurological disorders.
Programs: Support of the balance of expenses incurred during fiscal year ending 6/30/17 by the cain foundation laboratories not otherwise covered by the cain foundation laboratories' grant and other source funding. These expenses include salary, operating and equipment costs necessary to support the cain foundation laboratories staff of 41 researchers. The gordon and mary cain pediatric neurology research foundation funded approximately 22% of these expenses and granted the amount to texas children's hospital.
