Mission: To reduce the incidence of high blood pressure and hypertension-related cardiovascular disease outcomes (heart attacks, strokes, renal disease and heart failure) in the southeastern region of the united states.
Programs: The consortium organizes educational programs and provides consultation for health care providers to reduce the incidence and mortality of hypertension. It promotes and organizes research and provides communication among members.
