Hello everyone! My name is Kavana B C, and I am currently pursuing my final year of BE in Computer Science and Engineering. I find it difficult to express my feelings in words. Back when I was just an SSLC graduate with many career goals, I had no one to support me. But then, this foundation stepped in and became the guiding hand for both me and my dreams.

The Avasar Foundation has been my backbone for the past six years, and I truly want to thank all the members of this foundation. This support has not only helped me pursue my BE but has also shaped me into a better person. I don’t just want to be a beneficiary—I want to help others who, like me, struggle to pay their fees.

Iam G. Ragasudha d/o G. Raju who works as a security guard. I completed my schooling in 2019 and joined a college. While my family was struggling to pay my college fee I came to know about avasar Foundation through a newspaper article . Later I have written an exam to join in Avasar Foundation and I got selected by the team. That was when my journey with Avasar Foundation has begun.
Avasar Foundation has supported me for 5 years i.e 2 years of intermediate and 3 years of my degree. Now I completed my degree with 82% without any financial burden through out my studies .

I am teacher at Avasar Preschool. I am very happy to be part of this organization. I feel I am serving and contributing to my community. We are providing scholarship to girls, driving digital literacy,running five Preschools, supporting PreSchool parents in pandemic and much more.

The Avasar Foundation has set up a computer lab in G R Bhagat highschool Bhadarva(near Vadodara, Gujarat) and has given me an opportunity to teach the poor students of this tribal area. Really, I am very fortunate to be a part of this foundation.

I have been associated with Avasar foundation from last 3 years. Their work related to women and children is commendable. Their initiatives during these unprecedented times are simply amazing. I am happy and excited to be part of this journey.

Being a topper in Pu with 97% , I wasn't able to get concession in fees from any of the reputed colleges rather they offered me installments.
Without Avasar foundation's helping hand my parents wouldn't be able to afford me to a reputed college like st Joseph's, as I have two brothers pursuing their education. Me and my parents are really thankful to Avasar foundation for helping me pursue my further education.

I am pre primary teacher of Avasar foundation. I am glad to be a part of this. Avasar give free education to poor children who are not able to go to private school.

I joined the Avasar Foundation in 2018 as a facilitator. Through the Avasar Foundation, a government school in Ahmedabad where poor students come to study did a great job by making computer labs for them and giving them computer education. I am proud to be a part of the Avasar Foundation.

It's a great foundation where the
girl child is supported to build the best future for her in all the possible ways and get the great inspiration to achieve the things. It's also a good platform for the small kids to start their learning from the best syllabus from the best teachers. All the possible support is given by this foundation so that every corner problem and a talented child is solved and the best is provided . The silent book reading club makes the reader to love the passion of reading. When the crises of corona the foundation had distributed the ration and a amount for the pre school children and made them happy and safe. The foundation opens all the possible gates for the students by the computer labs, science labs in government schools

I am really very thankful to avasar foundation. Within one year I leant so many things from avasar. I leant english from helo app it is really very useful for me. Now I am joined vikas lifeskill program, it's a 3 months course it is very usefull every week they bring new topic which are very interested. Now avasar foundation is conducting a mental wellness program it's really useful for my future career. The topics are very intersting and the speakers give time to interaction. There is a club called silent book club. Which improves our reading skills. This are main programs I have attended. They conduct compitation for us which help us to show our skills. There are lot of programs which are very usefull for students as well as everyone.

I have been working here at Avasar Foundation past from 2 years and this is the 3rd year as a Teacher and the coordinator. It is a great and amazing experience with Avasar foundation. The children are very lucky to have this foundation, children's are blessed that they are learning high quality education for free of cost, free books and uniforms. The Avasarfoundation is grate organization. They are financially helping the poor girls who cant offer good education in rural areas. I was given the chance to visit two of the Avasar locations back in 2016 and it’s an experience I will never forget. The passion, excitement and happiness the students had about simply being there was enough to show how important this non-profit truly is. Helping the underprivileged youth gain access to education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and giving everyone, no matter their background, a chance at success. I still speak with some of the girls who were students and have seen them complete this program, find employment and are now showing the world how wonderful and intelligent they are. There are not enough words to express how much I love what Avasar has done and is continuing to do. Their work is so crucial and the passion they have to keep it going is inspiring! I’m eager to see what the following years bring!

Have been associated with Avasar Foundation since 2014 and have seen it reaching several hearts with the only intent to bring up the under privileged who are talented. I have associated myself with Avasar in 2016. We, at Avasar, have been working on various projects such as:

My first association with Avasar was back in early 2018, when there was a requirement for sponsoring a school girl. This student was highly studious upon checking her 10th marksheet. But, unfortunately the student’s family could not support in her further higher education. Avasar came forward to campaign to sponsor. With all good hearts we were able to sponsor her Tution fee.

With more personal interest towards this organisation, I joined as a fundraiser in 2019 and helping the underprivileged girl students for their education.

The best part about this NGO is; volunteer are not working because its a part of there job, They understand it as a social responsibility and do it. I have been knowing this NGO since last year and the volunteer are working seemlessily to uplift this NGO to next level.

Avasar was founded in 2012 by Expeditors employees. From its inception, individuals have supported scholarships that provide tuition, books, stationaries, clothing support and meal allowance to underprivileged girls.

The Avasar Scholarship Program supports education of underprivileged girls for six years. Apart from the Scholarship Program, they are also offered assistance with Internship as well as job opportunities. I personally have seen girls from this Non-Profit NGO been given internship opportunity which has turned into permanent full-time job offers.

I love to see the kind of value or loyalty they show towards their job and office. They truly inspire me to acknowledge and value the little privileges we have. I strongly believe in Avasar Foundation’s belief of Providing Opportunity to the many Underprivileged Girls of our society.

I had an opportunity of working with Avasar which is an wonderful experience. I had no idea what a NGO can do before joining with Avasar, but after working @ Avasar, my idea of helping society has totally changed.
Supporting a girl child from weaker section of society is definitely a big thing, which is taken as a challenge and carried out at Avasar. Here they support the girl child by providing 5 year scholarship and also see that the girl is able to secure a good job and respectable place in the society.
Another challenge which is taken care @Avasar is providing Computer Education to Government School children, graduates and home makers. I worked as a computer facilitator @Avasar, have seen how learning computers has made difference in the lives of those school children, graduates & home makers.

Many NGOs and organizations for social change have mushroomed in India in the previous decades but very few have expanded on the basis of scale and the impact on the community. After all, it’s a herculean task to scrape through red tapism to be able to establish an NGO in the first place.

And considering the lack of transparency in transactions in our country, donations and sponsorships too are not easy to receive too. In spite of all these hurdles, there are a few NGOs that have made substantial social impact in India until now and Avasar is one of them doing a tremendous job in different parts of the country.
