Programs: Adult day program - the program serves individuals with the most need offering social, daily living, and educational opportunities. supported employment programs - employment programs offer individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to work in small groups out in the community under the supervision of a crew coach. Groups generally consist of three clients to one crew coach with jobs consisting of janitorial, landscape maintenance, retail, and litter abatement. The goal of employment programs is to teach independence on the job, facilitate improvement in work related performance, and guide individuals through the process of increasing work related skills. This program also assists job seekers with disabilities to secure a fully integrated placement, at a competitive wage level with local business settings. Through the services of a professional job developer and a qualified job coach, a career choice which matches the individuals aptitude and preferences is secured and maintained.
work activity program this program is designed to provide vocational training for adults with moderate to mild intellectual and developmental disabilities. This program also provides paid work opportunities in sheltered workshop settings where individuals concentrate on developing a strong work ethic, good work habits, and proficient skills. Workers are trained in performing service contracts, light assembly work, secure document destruction, and product packaging.
