Mission: Team Scot’s mission is straightforward, eradicate pediatric and childhood cancers. Our purpose is to fund new and existing studies and make sure all the monies we raise go directly to the research doctors trying to find a cure. While this will be our main objective, we are also dedicating our efforts and funds to help children get into trial programs, assist families with finances, find housing near trial hospitals, and provide comfort, emotional support, and understanding.
Target demographics: Childhood Cancer Patients and their Families
Programs: Fund research for Childhood Cancers with a focus on Rhabdomyosarcoma Organize with UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital on Childhood Cancer Patients who need financial assistance to enter a Trial Program and Award the Scot Sieczko and Luis Saravia Quality of Life and Care Award to help with expenses Give Tie Blankets to Childhood Cancer Patients for comfort Raise Awareness on Childhood Cancers with a focus on Rhabdomyosarcoma Help UCSF with establishing a Tissue / Tumor Bank Nationwide to help with Research and finding a cure
