Programs: Orphans sunrise usa provided 1550 orphans monthly with education, food, clothing, shelter and other daily necessities. Need was focused on sustainable solutions for benefiting children and their families.
education in 2016 sunrise usa completed the building of 4 schools around refugee camps for students to learn reading, writing math and languages. Provided books,back-packs and school materials for over 3,900 students from grade 1 to 9 in schools around refugee camps. Also provided students with clothing, shoes and hats.
relief and food baskets sunrise usa delivered more than 10,000 food baskets through trusted affiliate or through a 3rd party contractor in syria benefiting over 47,500 people. Sent 2 containers of clothes, blankets and non-perishable food items. Helped 10,000 displaced people supplying them with blankts and jackets. Distributed 30 tons of whole chicken in refugee camps. Distributed meat to approximately 56,700 families during 2016 holidays. Supplied refugee camps with 25 cubic meter water tanks that benefited more than 1,000 families in 4 refugee camps inside syria.
