I was honored to see STEPS CARE present their program on multiple occasions. Often people were so moved by the authenticity of the stories told that the audience was moved to tears. I talked to one lady afterward who said that the presentation really opened her eyes to the needs of the people with disabilities. Steps Care has been called to present the information around the country--- they were even invited to help the Amish community set up a program for children with disabilities! They work very hard and tailor every presentation to the needs of the audience.

So many parents have the experience of not having their child with special needs accepted in the very place everybody should feel welcomed and loved-church. Steps Care does a great job of educating others about the need for church accessibility for all and how to go about setting up that ministry in your church. This grass roots non-profit is doing great things to change lives for families and churches!!

Thank you Rev. Grant for taking time to review our organization. We are grateful for your families involvement with our Steps Care family since the very beginning. It is overwhelming to see how this organization has grown by leaps and bounds since that first board meeting in 2016. You all are such a blessing.

As a grandmother of two autistic children, I don't always feel like I understand or am as helpful as I wish I could be to them or their parents. Things are always changing and shifting and it's harder even still as they live out of state. I listen to Steps Cares podcasts and find them interesting and informative.

Shirley, I am glad you are benefiting from the weekly podcast, Steps Talk. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Grandparents play such an important roll in their children and grandchildren's lives, even more so when special needs are involved. I can say without hesitation that you're wonderful grandmother and your grandchildren love you dearly. We appreciate you lady.

As a mom of two children with special needs, finding a church that can accommodate my family is very important. Steps care makes that possible for familys all over the country. They go in and train leaders, sunday school teachers, and pastors how to have inclusive programs that make it possible for familys just like mine to be able to attend church. Steps care is non denominational which means they help every kind of denomination and arnt limited to helping only one religious group. Its a caring loving non profit that truly cares about helping others.

I know that many parents especially those with children with autism struggle with going to church. It seems like training that Steps Care provides makes going to church more of an option for families. Steps Care is a community minded organization that supports collaboration for better opportunities to support individuals with disability within their faith communities.
