After adopting a kitten the rescue group saved from the NYC AC&C kill list, my wife and I began Volunteering for Staten Island Hope Animal Rescue in January of 2014. We were very impressed with all the good they do to rescue animals. Staten Island Hope saves the lives of hundreds of cats every year giving them a second chance at life. They also take care of several feral cat colonies in the community as well as help people within the community find homes for stray kittens they find in their area or for pets they can sadly no longer keep. The selfless dedication of the President of rescue, Michelle Christofilakes, serves as an inspiration to all who volunteer.
