Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Children & Youth, Economic Development, Human Services, Urban & Community Economic Development, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Through faith and action, we strive to nurture and develop the children in stafford county who are constrained by poverty and the lack of english proficiency, and to help them fulfill their maximum potential.
Geographic areas served: Stafford Junction serves the neighborhoods of Meadows Mobile Home Park, Olde Forge, The Village at England Run, England Run North Apartments, Jefferson Place, Garrison Woods, and Foxwood Village located in Stafford County Virginia.
Programs: Brain builders - provide homework assistance, nutritious food and opportunities for intellectual growth for 85 students in first through eighth grades.
healthy living pays - encourages families to live healthy lifestyles by eating well, excersising and receiving proper healthcare. Partners with the ymca to provide memberships to low income families. Provides weekly transporation to the ymca for children and adults.
summer activities - this program provides daycamp and other enrichment activities and experiences for children ages 3-15 during the summer when school is not in session.
additional programs include life skills workshops and helping us grow strong (hugs).
