Programs: Svrep in california conducted 17 cases under the california voting rights act causing new district elections to be enacted. We also conducted voter registration activities in orange county and maricopa county, az. Additional svrep accomplishments in 2016 include: svrep conducted voter education and registration activities in texas around willie velasquez day, may 9, 2016. Svrep partnered of high schools and community colleges in texas. Svrep registered 25,000 latino voters in texas, 2,500 registered in las cruces, new mexico. Svrep held the latino vote summits in san antonio, texas, las vegas, nevada, and, phoenix, arizona. Leaders from each state took part in the discussion on matters of importance to latinos in the 2016 primary elections. Svrep turned out latino voters for the texas primary. Svrep conducted phone bank in miami, florida to contact 25,000 latino voters. In 2016 svrep had 500 volunteers. All work was done in a non-partisan manner.
