Mission: Southeast asian refugee community home's (search) mission is to assist newly arrived immigrants and refugees in becoming contributing members of their community. Key organizational goals include meeting participants' basic settlement needs; improving participants' economic well-being; and helping youth and families participate more fully in american society.
Programs: Employment services - employment services provides a variety of employment training, placement and retention services targeting limited english-speaking immigrants and refugees. As search's largest program, employment services is staffed by a diverse multi-lingual staff that works very closely with clients to place them in jobs that pay a living wage. In addition to placement and retention services, search also provides computer literacy and childcare provider trainings throughout the year. The program is funded by a combination of government contracts, the united way and local foundations.
refugee social services - refugee social services provides comprehensive case management services to refugees who have been in the u. S. For five or fewer years. The objective of the program is to help refugees with their basic human needs by providing case management and navigation services (e. G.
