Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: Son ministries partners with at-risk children and families in hilliard oh and beyond. We mobilize life improving resources and connect families to these resources. We mobilize the entire community to love and serve their neighbors.
Programs: Summer lunch- this program provided free nutritious lunches to 889 school-aged children facing poverty. We also provided bus transportation to the lunch sites for 259 of those children.
family esl- this program operates during the school year and provides academic support, recreation and healthy snacks for 270 children facing poverty and esl classes for 227 parents.
community connections- our good tidings christmas store served 723 children from 220 families. Our monthly free legal clinic connected 88 adults to legal aid.
community education - through this endeavor we teach organizations, businesses, churches, schools and individuals about poverty in the suburbs. We teach cross-cultural community building to enable us to act as one unified body
