Causes: Cancer
Mission: To provide end of life care to cancer patients with limited financial resources.
Programs: Our lady of peace (the home) operates a nursing facility providingfree nursing home care to needy victims of incurable cancer in st. Paul, minnesota. The services provided include medical care, around theclock nursing care, pharmacy services, laundry services, and beautyshop/barber shop services. The requirements for admission to the homeinclude both a diagnosis of incurable cancer and the inability to payfor nursing care elsewhere. Prior to june 1, 2011, the home operatedunder the name of our lady of good counsel home. Starting august 1st, 2014 we accept all patients with a terminal illness (not just cancer).
