Mission: Seasons is new orleans' first and only non-profit grief center, offering specialized bereavement counseling and psychotherapy to children and coping with the loss of a significant loved one. Recognizing the onus of being the sole grief center in the region, our intent is to increase the communitys awareness of our services through education and training of the needs of grieving children and families. We also to serve as a resource center for information and referral of grief-related services in the metropolitan area for all louisiana residents.
Programs: Art therapyseasons grief center offers art therapy to children, adolescents, families and groups. Art therapy allows people to express what is inside them without having to find the right words for it. No art skill or experience is required and there is no pressure to make good or pretty art.
