Mission: The organization is the largest provider of free heart surgery to indigent children in the under developed countries of the world, without reference to religion, creed or nationality. The professional health care providers work without compensation and plan to do about 250 surgeries a year on needy children in about 21 countries, including gaza and the west bank. They also train medical personnel in various countries to ident1fy and assist such sick children.
Programs: Sach israel provided medical treatment to 266 children from developing countries suffering from heart disease at the wolfson medical center (wmc) in holon, israel and examined over 400 children at the wmc.
sach israel provided outreach training in pediatric cardiac care to 23 physicians from developing countries at the wmc.
sach israel provided medical treatment of 10 children and the examination of 381 children during 4 medical missions abroad to tanzania, ethiopia, zanzibar and azerbaijan during a teaching and surgery mission facilitated by sach israel medical teams.
