Mission: SafeHouse Center provides support for those impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault. SafeHouse provides free and confidential services for any person victimized that lives or works in Washtenaw County. Our services include emergency shelter for those in danger of being hurt or killed, counseling, legal advocacy, support groups, and especially, hope.
Programs: Safehouse center provides temporary emergency shelter, food and services for survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence relationships and their children. Shelter services include crisis counseling, assistance with couseling, employment, education, childcare, credit counseling, housing location, financial assistance, and referrals when needed. These services are also provided to non-residential clients. A crisis line that operates 24/7 in providing assistance to individuals. Safehouse also provides legal advocacy services, support and referrals in both criminal and civil law systems.
