Mission: Our mission is to eliminate barriers to high-quality music education. Through music, we support youth as they develop their full creative and personal potential.
Programs: Rosie's house is transforming the future of our community by providing students who are economically disadvantaged with opportunity and access through music education. Our program promotes goal-setting and develops our students' commitment to secondary education and community service. One of the largest free afterschool music programs nationwide, we serve youth ages 5-18. During the 2017-18 program year, rosie's house provided 450 youth with over 18,000 free music lessons, loaned 300 free musical instruments, and performed over 60 concerts to 12,000 audience members. Our music program includes lessons in piano, strings, winds, mariachi and choir. We are improving our student's quality of life by giving them access to opportunities that will help break the cycle of poverty and provide tools for long-term success.
