Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Group Homes, Human Services, Job Training, Sheltered Employment
Mission: Serving and advocating for individuals with developmental and other disabilities so they may have the opportunity to choose and realize their goals.
Programs: Residential services provide a home-like living situation for individuals to ensure safe and appropriate living. Training is provided based upon each individual's needs and emphasis is placed upon assisting individuals in enhancing their level of functioning in everyday situations.
resale stores provide training for the individuals served by the association and is a source of income.
day services stresses training in the activities of daily living, self-advocacy, adaptive and social skills. Also offer contract assembly work.
home services offer assistance to enable individuals to live in their own houses and apartments. Respite provides short term,supportive care and supervision to an individual when the primary caregiver is unable to perform these duties. Community employment services provided are job placement,work experience opportunities, employability skills training, job coaching, and follow along service as needed.
