Mission: The richland creek watershed alliance is a watershed-based, community supported stream conservation group, public charity, focused on environmental sustainability of the richland creek watershed, and dedicated to providing action and leadership for long-term restoration and preservation of its ecosystem.
Programs: Education and community outreach: engaged schools and universities in conservation projects, produced newsletters for the community; workshops, lectures and presentations for schools and community groups.
stream habitat renewal and wildlife protection: engaged the community in tree planting, invasive plant removal, and wildlife monitoring.
water quality protection: scientific studies, stream clean ups, working with property owenrs and businesses regarding best practices.
