Mission: To support, advocate for, and enhance the value of reid park zoo for the community.
Programs: Reid park zoological society provides support for the reid parkzoo, to enable over 520,000 visitors to view wildlife in natural settings. Support for on-site education programs, outreach, and teacher workshops related to life science, environmental education, and conservation reaching approximately 20,000 teachers and students last year. Includes support of in-situ conservation programs worldwide. Support reid park zoo to complete the following projects: carousel ride to enhance zoo visitors experience, architectural design for gibbon exhibit renovation, otter fence repair, architectural design for health center.
