Mission: Quincy university stands as a catholic, independent, liberal arts institution of higher learning in the franciscan tradition. Inpired by the spirit of francis and clare of assisi, we respect each person as a sister or brother with dignity, value, and worth. We work for justice, peace, and the integrity of creation. We prepare men and women for leadership and for the transformation of the world by educating them to seek knowledge that leads to wisdom. We welcome all to share our spirit and life.
Programs: Institution: approximately 1,281 degree-seeking students enrolled, with institutional aid to approximately 1,095 students. Additionally, approximately 310 students enrolled in post baccalaureate workshops.
student services: includes departments such as admissions, financial aid student life, campus ministry, registrar, and athletic programs. These offices serve students through the fall, spring, and summer terms.
auxiliary enterprises: serves approximately 625 students. The majority of this area is comprised of the administration and maintenance of student housing as well as food service. The university has dormitories as well as houses and apartments with one main dining hall.
