Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: To care for and find homes for purebred and other unwanted cats, and to educate the public about animal care, animal rescue work, animal husbandry, and the necessity of spaying or neutering all pets.
Programs: 48 volunteers provided foster homes, transportation, shelter services, administrative duties, and found adoptive homes for 335 cats and kittens in 2017. We educate and work with every adoptive family to make sure that the adopted cats are properly cared for and integrated into the new environment. We also assist with behavior problems within the household environment. We encourage and promote education on our website. Last year we helped with two major breeders who were downsizing and needed assistance in rehoming some of their animals. We also assisted several shelters in placement of cats through our rescue.
