Programs: The sole program of psephos, inc. Is the national election defense coalition which serves to build bi-partisan election reform coalitions to better educate the public and lawmakers on issues of election integrity and help promote solutions to protect american voting systems from fraud and abuse. All expenses in our 2016 budget were allocated for the nedc to cover the cost of professional organizers and consultants, conferences, travel and media campaigns. Accomplishments included:development of an expert sign on letter by over 100 scientists - featuring more than 80 leading authorities on election administration, cybersecurity, and computer science as well as numerous public officials from across the political spectrum; making the case for a return to paper ballot, stronger cyber protections, and risk limiting audits in elections. Election integrity legislation - provided guidance to a number of organizations and various lawmakers on the development of new legislation to require paper ballot records of all votes and to require risk-limiting audits. Transpartisan relationships - built a strategic partnership with several leading conservative republican public relations figures, political commentators, and legislative strategists-complimenting the existing partnership with progressive, civil rights, and government reform organizations. Conducted a major marketing campaign for the new "i voted" documentary. Congressional education - nedc became a leading information source on election integrity questions on capitol hill, conducting a film screening for over 70 staffers, a major post-election briefing on election irregularities and opportunities for improvement, and a panel at the congressional black caucus annual legislative conference. Nedc also helped coordinate activities with the new voting rights caucus and voting rights alliance. Public media campaign - during 2016 nedc placed news articles, op-eds, advertisements and video features in a wide range of publications.
