I came to Shreveport via Hurricane Katrina and was introduced to Providence House to help me with the resources I needed to get back on my feet. Not only did they help me with the things I needed, they also housed my family and I for several months before offering my wife and myself FT employment. I graduated in March of 2006 and was introduced to another non profit, Habitat for Humanity and thanks to PH I was able to purchase my first home. 17 yrs later I'm still employed at Providence House doing what I love to do. HELPING OTHERS!!!
