Mission: The Prostate Net was founded by a survivor of prostate cancer in order to provide a source of education to the general population on the risks of prostate cancer and to encourage early detection. The Prostate Net the tools and support needed for the patient,his family and caregivers to make treatment decisions that offer the best chance for cure or control as well as maintaining a desired quality-of-life. The Prostate Net will build alliances with Governmental and social service agencies, health care and academic centers, industry associations and support organizations in order to achieve our objectives. Until there is a cure, the Prostate Net will provide the means to cope.
