The SWAGG Academy girls program has helped my granddaughter build her confidence and make new friends. She is learning to express herself through creative writing and poetry. She enjoys reading the books written by Ms. Sheri, who is one of the program leaders. She is looking forward to attending their upcoming writing workshop for girls.

PYS supported my family by finding a good therapist for my daughter when she was dealing with self-esteem issues. They call to check on my daughter on a consistent basis and offer moral support. We are looking forward to attending their girls program.

My daughter attended the SWAGG Academy this summer and had a wonderful experience. She struggled with making friends and building relationships during the school year but was able to meet new friends and have new bonds. The staff was very good at teaching my daughter social skills and how to increase her self-esteem. I look forward to seeing what other programs Prodigy Youth Services will have in the upcoming years.

Prodigy provides quality programs and services in Baltimore, Maryland. Their mentoring programs match trusting adult mentors that have a passion for supporting young people, with at-risk youth from the community. They offer group mentoring, virtual mentoring, and 1:1 mentoring opportunities. Mentors and mentees meet with the community for a minimum of 1 hour per week to talk or do activities together. Parents are offered, parenting classes and support groups. Mentees are celebrated on a regular basis for their progress and active participation.

Prodigy Youth Services has been providing a variety of services within the Baltimore Community for at-risk children and families. Their SWAGG Academy summer program focuses on social-emotional learning, character building, and increasing self-esteem. They provide quality mentoring services which focus on building meaningful, trusting, relationships. The staff are highly qualified and are trained in Restorative Practices and Conflict Resolution. Participants are taken on trips and exposed to new places and activities outside of their community. I had the opportunity to visit the summer program and participants were fully engaged and happy to be in the program.

My child attended the SWAGG Academy summer program hosted by PYS. The staff were very caring and built a great relationship with my daughter. The program worked with young girls to build their self-esteem and confidence. Each week there was a different speaker and Girls Scouts worked with the girls every week. My daughter is looking forward to attending the program next summer. I would definitely recommend the program to any elementary or middle school girl.

This wonderful nonprofit services the young people of Baltimore. Over the years they have mentored, supported, and engaged with hundreds of young people. The SWAGG Academy is a highlight of what the company offers but there’s so much more programming.
The thing I love the most about Prodigy Youth Services is that it’s run by educators and lifelong Baltimorean’s, who are committed to making a change one young person at a time.

As a Community School Coordinator, I was delighted that Prodigy Youth Services selected a group of our students. PYS help them to understand the importance of planning for your future. They incorporated financial literacy, career/college planning, Journaling and maintaining ones Wellness all in a 10 week program that our students loved. I cant wait for the next cohort of students to experience Prodigy Youth Services.

Prodigy Youth Services offers a series of youth-centered services from summer camp to mentorship that engage young people. I spent a day with their all-girl summer camp group called the S.W.A.G.G. Academy making ice cream to demonstrate the freezing depression point of water. The girls really were a joy to work with and asked insightful questions. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them
