Mission: The parents and teaching staff of portal elementary school join together in order to effectively channel the efforts and resources to the direct benefit of the students; facilitate mutual communication and nurture a cohesive relationship; initiate, carry out and sponsor programs that benefit the school and school community.
Programs: For students from grades k-5: provide academic support with materials and people. Promote enrichment classes. Provide computer upgrades and maintenance to enhance learning. In addition, provide educational support to teachers, provide funds for school materials, and support costs associated with copier maintenance and duplication for instructional materials.
