Mission: Petaluma bounty is a community based nonprofit that is helping folks to grow their own healthy food, redistributing surplus food, and providing affordable fresh food to low income families and seniors.
Programs: Our core programs are designed to work together to help the children, families and seniors who are hungry or food insecure today, while building individual and community food self-reliance for the long-term. These programs are made possible through the thousands of hours that our volunteers contribute each year, and the generous in-kind and financial contributions of our community partners and supporters. We estimate we served approximately 6000 people this last year.

Petaluma Bounty fills a great need here in town. Not only do they have educational programs, they also are helping with food banks and teaching children to love eating well thereby battling childhood obesity. Few organizations cover so many bases with so much impact in our community.
We came here with a group from UC Berkeley and had a wonderful time helping them transfer plants, build a greenhouse, and lay out a mulch path. Everyone was super nice and their regular volunteers were super inspiring!
