Mission: To support amateur youth sailing by providing instruction and facilities to accomodate sailors of all skill levels and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Programs: Peninsula youth sailing foundation provides sailing instruction and coaching after school and on weekends for youth ages 12-18 years old to sail in fj sailboats and learn basic sailing instructions and safety, and progress to compete as part of a team in high school regattas throughout california. Additionally, junior racing provides an opportunity for sailors to learn how to sail in 420 and laser sailboats and to compete if they wish in regattas throughout the us. In the fall and spring approximately 91 and 80 youths participated, respectively.
during the summer peninsula youth sailing foundation holds 1-2 week long summer camps for youth (8 to 18 years old). Basic sailing instruction and safety are taught and a fun regatta is held on the final day of camp. Coaches who are advanced sailors from the high school sailing teams as well as other sailing coaches are instructors. Approximately 161 youth (8 - 18 years) participated in the summer program.

They learn basic sailing instruction and safety and progress to compete individually in regattas. In the fall approximately 34 youth participated, and in the spring approximately 28 youth participated.
